Thank you!

The messages I’ve received in the past two days have been heartwarming to say the least. Thank you so very much to all who reached out. I’ve been especially touched by those who have someone in their life who suffers from PTSD. Shane was a complex character and difficult to write. I did a lot of research on PTSD, and as much as it bothered me to write the push and pull he went through, it was painfully accurate for someone suffering from this debilitating condition. I love that my readers recognized what Shane was going through and embraced his brokenness rather than hold it against him. I worried you’d be angry with him, but instead you loved him even more for his flaws!! PTSD is debilitating, and an estimated 22 veterans a day take their own lives after bravely serving this country. That’s unacceptable to me. If I could write an HEA for every one of those brave men and women, I would. But unfortunately, they don’t recover as quickly as I can write it in a book.
